"Scaner" was spelled correctly for that time. There were no PC scanners, only police scaners. Barcodes hadn't been invented yet. As I watched the original show as a youth, I can tell you the car was the only reason to watch the show (OK, Bruce Lee's karate moves). Yes, compared to most of you, I'm really OLD!Comment
