It's not about strapping a turbo to an m20 and letting it ride man. A built m20 running 20psi (if done wrong) is a grenade waiting to happen. I suggest you re-read his threads, then come judge "some of us". Also, who says a turbo'd m20 is the way to go?

I'm not judging but with 7:1 compression and 20 psi...he's not going to detonate. It may pop, but if anyone else here did a m20 turbo build that had those numbers burning thru 3rd gear (4th in a e30 probably) everyone would be fapping. Everyone needs to jump off the ballswinging bandwagon. And delatlanta, your about the only one who has the credibility to talk, but no reason to hate on this build, other than some of his hacked stuff. I'm intrested to see some dyno #'s, and when he gets a real tune, i doubt it will detonate as the 7:1 with 20psi is about right for compression.

Did you see the home made intake he made? Judging by how he made it, he has no idea about air flow dynamics. Neither do I, but I can tell you that if he continues to run that setup, he will definately grenade the motor.

Yes the plenum was garbage, but the plenum isn't what feeds the engine its mearly a storage area of air so to speak, as long as his runners are eqaul i don't think he'd have to much issue's with boost. It's no worse than people cutting and modifying obd1 m50 manifolds to fit with the stock brake booster.

that bend is shit. he talks about the many vaccume leaks he is experienceing. It's a wonder that motor hasn't blown up yet. Not to mention the horrible valve tick coming from his "newly" stroked motor. If he put the same effort into his bottom end, I seriously doubt it will last long.

Yes the bend is shit, lol it looks like non mandrel bent exhaust, thats bad... I'm sure it does have vaccum leaks, and im sure he doesn't know what he's doing, thats why i mentioned he is learning a lot. Everyones all bent out of shape because someone is defending him, and danny why are following me around so much

not to mention the last 4 cylinders are running hella rich thanks to the plenum not supplying any air at all.
