What Is This Car Worth? '89 325ic

So I am looking into this car, and just wanted everyones opinion on what it should be worth.

    1989 325ic Alpine/tan with black comfort seats
    5 speed, under 150k miles
Runs and drives well, but has been sitting for quite a while
Has smashed up front valence and possibly a small crack in the pan
Doesn't appear to be leaking, and the trunk is dry

    Thanks for your input
    Steven

Any services done recently? It has been parted out, beat up and in need of some service.

What are ya looking for? That helps to determine the price a bit.

I would say no more than 1800.

and as far as service, there is evidence of a timing belt change and regular oil changes, but i would still do it all just to be sure. He picked it up from an auction, and someone supposedly lifted the car with a forklift, hence the smashed valence and possibly cracked pan. I drove it around the block a couple times and it did fine, and started right up. The top is also really nice. I guess I am just worried about what I might find underneath

if it is parts car status--then under 1000.

It would be a tough flip seeing little room for profit. If you could keep costs low and draw them it out long enough to carry you into convertible season would help but i dont see much moola.

^ i agree with him.. If you were going to buy it, fix it up, and drive it, then you'd be fine paying $1200
