Those damn mtechnic door sills and trunk badges are freaking hard to find.
not really... just go to the dealership... whoever says they are NLA is lying to you... i just bought a set of door sill strips a month ago form the dealer no problem
i also believe that all mtech II pieces are also available... however not cheeply... from the dealer
I have a neighbor who owns a red Mtech convertible E30 with 15" basketweaves - it's been sitting for a year and she wont sell it to me. It pains me to look at the car, just rotting away. :(
I'm not sure how rare this is but I posted this on Bimmerforums and no one had ever seen one. As far as I can tell it’s an oil tank that is connected to the low oil switch in the pan. When triggered, it adds oil to the pan via the dipstick. This is on a ’84 euro 323.
I guess if you’re too lazy to check your oil it could be handy.
No. BMW offered a tonneau cover for the E30 Verts. It covered the rear seats as well as the passenger seat. It was made of the same type fabric that the covertible tops are made of. I have only seen 1 of these in the world(other than the pic in the options brochure).
Where are you finding hardtops to not make them a rare item?

How many here DO NOT have a passenger side mirror?
- oh, and to whoever said the aluminum motor mount arms aren't that big of deal... you ever weighed a standard US steel on in comparison to one of the Aluminum ones? ...i'll try to remember to do that this upcoming weekend. it's surprisingly significant
