^this...anyone who has dealt with me knows that they don't go more than 12hrs w/o communication. It is my most important tool for putting buyers at ease, seeing as how i'm in Germany. If I tell someone I will ship something and they will have tracking#'s/pictures the next day, then they do. I stay up till 10-11pm packing items so they go out when I said they would after getting up at 4am for work that day and then having to get up at the same time the next day.

what this all comes down to is COMMUNICATION!!!

don't hide behind the internet just because you can. if you know you can't ship something out immediately, then communicate this clearly to the recipient, and 99% of any problems will be avoided without any conflict.

even if your whole family is dying of the plague or your girlfriend broke up with you, you can still have the decency to say "sorry, personal issues are making it difficult for me to send your package out in the next couple days. please give me a week or two to ship it out. i will keep you updated, and please get back to me in two weeks if you haven't heard from me yet."

any normal person would react to that positively because you are being transparent. when you don't reply or explain why there is a delay is when people get suspicious and think you are trying to rip them off, regardless of how many people can "vouch" for you.

So after 84 plus post, I get a tracking number. Thanks Mike, I just want to say this: I not once talked crap about you, I spoke the truth. IMO i feel like the seller has good intentions and just came across wrong with bad comunication. Also, the OP has all the right to feel the way he does because in his mind he is out of $440 until his valence arrives. This probably wont be iver until the part arrives.
