    Anyone use freight Shipping?

    I need to get price to send a m42 motor from basically west coast to east coast.

    Please educate me. Cheaper the better.

    Fedex wanted 1608$ for a standard pallet

    a pallet shouldnt cost more than 250-300 through a normal freight carrier

      google "forward air"
      its terminal to terminal. you drop it at a freight terminal and your customer picks it up or pays the (normally) 50 dollar liftgate fee.
      Ive shipped 20 motors or more and they are normally in the 150-180 range depending on distance and current fuel costs

        I just got a cardinal interior (front and rear seats) shipped to me from Florida through this company http://www.xgsi.com/

        They were easy to work with. Get it shipped to a business addy though.

          southeastern or central freight. blunt probably has the best bet tho. might try YRC too. they should all be able to give you quotes by zip code.

            I did YRC, its look to be about 300-350$ ish....
