Help with the direction im taking my car (2002 content)

Well, as I near closer and closer to finishing getting my car running, I am looking into how I am going to style it. Either balls to the wall or clean. If I were to go crazy with it, I'd continue with what I was going to do. I wanted to make Kellener DRM Jagermeister replica, except with turbo flares, not box flares.

That, or go with clean. No flares, stickers, "race" seats, etc..

I am getting my car repainted once the swap is done, and either am getting the flares/airdam painted or selling them and the 13x8's I have for something non-flare friendly.

Here is my car at the moment. Older picture but you get the point.

    So, what is your opinion?

My opinion is I need to get my ass over to your place so we can finish this thing up. You need to call me when you're free dude!

I am doing the wiring right now, I could use the help! Shits confusing haha. I have the e30 harness all taped up and labeled what wire goes where, but not a clue on the 2002 harness. Sunday might work if you are free then.

Sunday is the super bowl. Either after or before the game I'm down though.

Imo, don't get too crazy with it. Jagermeister would be cool but lots of drilling/cutting/fiberglass. I like it in your sig.

I say stay clean. I have a soft spot for a clean yet aggressive '02s. In my insurance adjuster days, we found that cars with extensive graphics applied were some of the most vandalized, second only to supercars. If you keep it clean, it will carry that general respect of "wow check out that nice classic car." It keeps the punks from being silly and messing with your hard work.

Just my $.02. Either way, it will look great.

There is no way I would poke holes in a 2002 if the panels are rust free and straight. I think your sig looks perfect. I want it!

                Is that colorado or inka?

                    Keep it clean!

Obvious bias here as I am restoring a totally clean '76 2002. Nothing looks better than a clean '02 with a nice stance and great wheels. See my car (sahara) and Blunt's excellent '70 2002 (Tangerine). Turbo/Racer look makes it look like a 'Clown Car', all IMHO of course.

All you need now is to upgrade the taillights to LEDs for an updated look and also to protect all your hard work - most '02 get rear-ended due to poor. dim or failing taillights.

We mfr. the only plug&play LED conversion kit for these cars (both Round and Square) - www.2002s.net . Our kit is totally discreet and non-destructive, plugs right into the existing wiring harness. Return to OEM at anytime. 4 times brighter than oem incandescents. Installs in under 1 Hr. using nothing more than an 8mm nutdriver and hot glue gun. Write me at: info@2002s.net to receive a discount code saving you $26 on the kit.

                    Cheers!

I say keep it clean. The only '02s that look right with flares and all that other jazz are ones on the track, with all the other accoutrements and none of the fat.

Stay clean on the outside, its a classic, it should be classy looking.
                        Mine,

If you want to get crazy, do it under the hood.
