I've seen people from places other than r3v try to sell POS e30s for like $8000-$12000 all stock just because its a BMW. r3v isn't cheap we're just not retarded and know what our cars are worth. Parts are another story. If you want to sell something for $100 plus shipping you will get a million offers for like $30 shipped lol.

not sure about here cause i tend to look more at parts and such then whole cars for sale..but i know on craigslist for my area...naples/fort myers....there is alot of people who have e30s and think they are sitting on a gold mine..
as an example...i stopped by this guys house to check out a 85 318i...not much if any rust..was an auto had some minor body issues..over all a worth driver/project he wanted 1600 little more then i would pay but where he blew my mind was he also had a 86 eta sitting towards the back of his house..so i asked about it..
well he said he want 1k firm if he sold it as is...had a snapped timing belt and the interior was dirty as hell...but saveable i offered him 500 which may have been a little high but it had a decent body he said no....
i ended up picking up a red 89 coupe with black interior super clean all around but also snapped the timing belt for 700...which was worth it to me since its clean as hell and had a much better base to start off with ...
