Blew up my diff today...

I blew up my diff on the freeway today going 60mph. It really sucks because I had an LSD sitting in my garage waiting to be swapped this weekend. It had started getting way clunkier then usual as of late as it had always had a slight clunk and didn't function the best. I thought I ran over a random pothole on the freeway but pretty sure it was just part of my diff. 190 dollars later my cars back home and waiting for a swap... It just looks like the linkage on the left fell off but I think there is more to it then that.

There's no way my transmission got harmed in all of this is there?

shouldnt have harmed the mighty getrag 260. i have a getrag 240 and i blew my original diff up years ago...and working on trashing my medium cased lsd now. trans is fine. :)
