Wow, that blows. Good luck resolving all of this--you have been more than reasonable and calm through the whole thing, hopefully it pays off. That is a fortune to spend on 6 paperweights.

              What he said.

Sorry to hear this, I own a Mitsubishi Starion/Conquest and I was amazed when i found out TEP, was located somewhat near me. I visited the store location before i thought to purchase anything for my car, and i honestly didn't feel very welcomed while there.

Although this is the only Personal Experience I have with them, I never felt right doing business with them.

I heard from a few previous Star-quest customers that they didn't do quality work and had Bad customer relations.

When I got my E30, I thought about doing business, but, What made them LOSE me as a potential Customer 2-5 years ago, was WORD of MOUTH!

Hopefully they will get the point of you showing them this thread.

can you still see the "machine to" groove on the deck of the block? Make sure you are armed with a picture of that too. That'll probably be the first thing out their mouth, "how much was machined off the block?" or "What is your total deck height?" Be sure to have the deck height measurement when they respond....

sure we can see the " machine to " groove on the deck of the block. the deck has been shaved 0.1mm by my machinist.

                  I will post pictures tomorrow

Sounds like time for shorter rods, or less crank throw.

                      That sucks.

                      Good luck finding a solution!

Not sure if you've seen this thread, but just as a friendly reminder if I may, these types of deals always go viral and it's best to keep good reputation?
