how come blunt completely skipped over the e36?

    LDSBeaker that is not cool. Before we met, I worked on E21s, E36s, and E46s on my own and with the BMWCCA. I always had my E24 M6 worked on by shops. After we met, I helped you work on your E28 and E30s (which gave me new respect for both platforms) as well as working up the nerve to tear into my E24. I was not implying anything bad about your cars or insinuating that E36s were the new Honda Civic from a reliability standpoint. My point continues to be this: BMW has never built a perfect car; but they have built cars that we all obviously love. Show me a BMW owner who keeps his car past warranty, and I will show you a person who has spent both a lot of time and money to keep his or her car on the road. Conversely, those who ignore maintenance will wonder why expensive repairs result.
