Project: 1990 E30 325IS
Since my childhood I have always wanted an E30. Correction, since my birth I've wanted an E30. My father owned a 1987 E30 325es which I was driven home in from the hospital the day I was born.
His next BMW was a 1992 E34 525i followed by many other BMW's ranging from an E46 M3 vert to a M6 and somehow to a 135i vert.
My first BMW was an X3 which I shared with my older sister back when I turned 16. More recently I owned a E92 335i which I had leased and decided to terminate due to the economical climate and being fresh out of college. I have been without a car for 3 months, sharing my moms dope '11 civic LX .... but that time has come to an end and I finally came across a car which I am so in love with ( im weird like that).
I came across this find through a classmate during my last semester in college. I overheard her telling one of her friends, how her BF was trying to sell his 1990 3 series for a great price. I asked her immediately about the car and knew I had to jump on this opportunity. So today I made it happen and gave him a $200 deposit for the car while I get it checked out by one of my mechanics. The car needed a good vacuum which I did right away and she will be getting a bath tomorrow. She's is sitting on 5 spoke Borbet's.
As for it's condition, a few fuses need to be replaced for the cluster and dashboard lights. Im most likely going to start off with getting new suspension because the rear shocks are out. Besides that, interior is in fair condition, one tear in the drivers seat. Its equipped with Premium Package (upgraded stereo, heated seats, sunroof).
