    E36 (320i) MAF Convertion

has anyone heard of this or perform this on an M20? will this only work with a 081 ecu?
    MAF swap from a E36 320i. 4pin (13 62 1 733 678) (70mm diameter)
    Car is ´86 325i euro(9.7compression) (ecu 081)
no O2 input into ECU either
    assume everything else stock.

    Installation of MAF:
12v from fuel pump relay, signal wire to original AFM signal wire into ecu(grey yellow, #7 on ecu end).
    ground to ground.

Results: no problems and complete stock drivability.
good throttle response, and probably some HP

Note : this is a BOSCH M50B20 MAF and no other MAF may work, there is almost a 100% chance that other MAF´s will not work as easily.

    This MAF is also found on E32 850i, E32 750i, E34 520i, and E36 M50 320i

It was I who did this conversion,
I haven´t heard of anybody do it yet,
but I´ll be running a 2.5 soon with a 173 ecu , so I´ll give it another go and update the thread
