Notice to anyone buying stuff from BMP Design

I needed a new exhaust for my e30 but I am kind of limited on cash right so I decided to go with Ansa's system consisting of an intermediate pipe and muffler well BMP says that they have to import it from italy and euro exchange rates went up so there is an increase in price ~$20 for the intermediate pipe and ~30-40 for their mufflers and that I would have to wait 2-3 weeks before they would get it from Italy. Sounded suspious to me and I called up Ansa. They said that their warehouses import things daily and prices havent gone up. I asked them who their main buyer was and they told me Bav Auto. One phone call later and I had my exhaust ordered they said that they had a lot of systems in stock for E30's and E34's their prices were a lot cheaper and they had plenty in stock and they have exhaust hanger kits for each type of muffler for a fairly reasonable price mine was around 37 before shipping and 45 after. So my cat back system for my 325e cost less than $240 including shipping. BMP can eat their exhaust systems and their exchange rate bullshit. Just giving you guys the heads up.

Apparently rust sells at a premium these days.

yeah as opposed to 450 or 800. There arent really any places around here that I can pick a used one in good shape. I would have liked to have had a 325i dual exhaust but whatever I am somewhat limited on time I need to get my off of my jackstands asap.

Bav Auto has always been fine each time I've ordered from them. They've been able to get me every euro part number I've ever asked for (including an M42 OBC coding chip).

Their prices aren't the best and they sometimes don't offer the name brands I want (like Lemforder control arms), but they have great customer service and will price match. I also love how shipping is next day for me since I'm so close.

Definately. One thing Ive found with Bav Auto is that they know their stuff, and everyone there is a BMW nut just like us. Ive had nothing but good times with them
