    actually used my towhook

yeah I got stuck in the fucking snow with winterforce snow tires. Actually more like stuck on the ice under the snow. Screwed in my towhook to the front bumper, and it worked pretty well getting pulled out...end of story

    Um... cool story bro?

I got stuck too, took about 15 minutes of rocking it back and forth to get out. Probably cost me a clutch too..

Used my rear tow hook to tow my brothers e39 a block or so after it died due to alt/battery.

Buy a 90s honda civic or accord and avoid this and the salt.

After my 86 es, I decided bmw's are best used in the other 3 seasons...regardless of winters or not

Disagree. The only car I've ever put in a snowbank was my brother's Saturn on Blizzaks. At least with rear wheel drive you can kick the tail out if necessary. Front wheel drive you start to plow there ain't a hell of a lot you can do about it.

Rear wheel drive + snow tires is fun if you know what you're doing.
