    Water on passenger side

I think it is due to the A/C, but want to get some ideas. I have found water on the carpet at the front of the passenger side of my car. I can see water beading up and running down from behind the console on the left side. It is all the way at the front where your feet would be. It was a hot day and I had the A/C running the whole time. Any ideas? Any fixes. This is the first time I have seen this happen. Thanks

        Maybe a heater core going?

I found a condesation outlet hose in ETK. It looks like it might be in the area where I am getting the water. Can anyone confirm that it is in the foot area of the passenger side before I pull it apart? Does anyone know where this hose exits the body?

Thanks armeN, I will look into to that as well. It looks as if that is a rain caused leak, but I'll check to be sure.

The usual cause of this is a plugged drain at the firewall in the engine bay. Pull the elephant-trunk looking grommet from the firewall at the pass side above the cyl head. Clean it out with a peice of wire and hot water. Everyone should do this to avoid a flood in your car... happened to me in my M3, really pissed me off.

Okay, I pulled the elephant trunk. It was full of debris. Would that have caused a leak even though it has not rained, I store the car in a garage and I have not washed it lately?
