    What do you guys think?

I may need to get a new fuel tank. I have looked for them online, and i have found them on ebay and autozone. The one on ebay was @ $265. The one thru autozone is @ $235.

Is there anywhere else i should look? What you you guys think?

Jon I have been here since i was about 15-16 yrs old. I am 35 now. I am just use to it now.

But back to why I may need a new tank. I had a clog in the return line in the tank. While trying to fix that problem, I made a small hairline crack around the lil nipple for the return into the tank. I tried to seal the crack, but it keeps leaking.

what if you drove out of town to a good junk yard? it might be worth the drive. most yards sell tanks for 100$ or less out hear in so cal. or find a guy that can weld the crack

ah, i'm 19, almost 20 and i've been here for almost 20 years, still not used to it lol

as for the crack, JB weld, not the ideal fix, but if you let it cure properly it'll seal it up

it should have held. did you make sure it was completely clean and free of any residue?
more importantly, did it stay dry of gas while it was curing?
