I recently cleaned and re-organized mine:

As you can see, I REALLY need a bigger box. They make a lower rolling box that matches this one, but I haven't pulled the trigger and bought it yet. I've been lucky and most of my tools have been gifted to me or bought at very cheap prices during sales.

To the OP - I have that exact same box and use it for whenever I need to take tools someplace. Works great. I've loaded it with at least 100lbs of tools with no problems other then trying to carry it. lol

My tools are a mess. I pretty much have a complete tool cheast worth of stuff in a roller bag and a huge storage box cause i'm too lazy to put them away after working on my car.

Ones you get to it it is kind of fun. Just get a six pack a good movie and a roll of paper towels and start polishing. I like sorting things. Maybe its because I am German :hitler:

I forgot to mention. My last name is Bird, so I went to the junk yard and got an emblem off a Thunderbird, chopped the Thunder part off and put the Bird part on as a custom name emblem. Got the idea from my dad who did it back in the 70's with an older T-bird.

It would honestly take a week to clean the shop. I wish my place was that clean! 6 shoulder high chests and a 20 foot bench that spans half of the garage. It has been clean 6 times in the last 7 years including moving the tools to the new shop.

Mad props guys, I would love to have it that spiffy!

P.S. It is my Uncles shop I only have two tool chest rollers. And he makes the mess because that is his job. But we know where everything is xD

Does not show the vast mess but that is a picture of a Tc suspension I was doing this summer.

I absolutely HATE not being able to find a tool I need. When it happens, which is rare, it usually ends in me using another improper tool and messing things up to the point I have to fix it.

I know what you mean! I normally don't have a problem but sometimes people use the shop and just lay it anywhere. There is order in that mess.

there is a correct tool for ever job! never use the wrong tool!
i also hate having the wrong tools. it happens to me a lot because i do not have that many tools.
you use the wrong tool, it takes twice as long as it should, then it brakes and you have to extract the bolt and buy a new one. faaaaaaaaa
thats when i buy anew tool.
now i need to talk my girl friend into buying me a larger tool chest :)

I'm forever ruined by Luke's organization system.
