DO you think that they should have limited numbers of everything for BMW?
Look at Porsche, they don't have as many 911's or 944's out in the roads as for E30's and E34's. I can understand the whole meaning of Porsche being a company that limits their production sothey tend to sell higher because of economics but should they do it for BMW also?

Porsche isnt limited numbers, their cars are for the most part just so overpriced, that they don't sell nearly as many. BMW is limited production compared to the number of Chevy impala's produces in the 80's-90's
Do you really think they limited production of the M3 back then......... hell no, they sat on the dealer floorss and noone bought them back them- BMW would have def. made more if they would have sold.
