Dude, keep spewing this BS and dig yourself deeper, please... it is genuinely entertaining. I'm really not trying to be an ass, but there are a few things stacked against you here: You don't know the very basics of thermo, fluid dynamics, energy transfer etc. etc. etc. How are you going to revolutionize the turbocharger when there have literally been thousands of brilliant minds doing so for decades -- especially when you say how unbelievably simple it is.

I respect ingenuity and such, but only in a realistic scope.

I believe that has been done already on some big two-stroke EMDs. (well, not belt, gear but the same idea)

Speaking of turbo design, anybody get a good look at the new turbo on the Ford powerchokes? Impressive!

Wow, that Borg Warner EFR series is amazing. I am going with one of those next year.

And I don't know why the OP posted before there was anything he was able to show. It seems pointless and setup to fail if he REALLY is building something.

I know of a way to have zero lag aswell, It's called displacement. Or a electric hairdryer, never turn it off.

So are you in touch with the turbonetics california facility??? Let me know when you finalize the design so I can visit the facility and check out your masterpiece.

    Borg warner new efr wheels

If you manage to design something these guys haven't thought of. The world of forced induction will be in your debt. However I would suggest investing in some m.e. courses.

Because you will have to absorb the patent costs without even knowing if it actually works and is cost effective.

So you are going to spend thousands on getting a patent when you don't even have a prototype? Seems like a waste of money and a few years.

Yet, you don't even have a single working prototype? This is just a design in your head? And you've never had a physics class?

turbo is not electric lol. and as for the alternator thing. everything starts as an idea. as for what the turbo will run. theoretically it will run any size turbo. a belt driven turbo would be nice but there are way too many flaws in a design like that. i did think of that a while back but i came up with something better. and this wont make nearly zero turbo lag. it will make absolutely zero turbo lag. it will also pull exhaust gasses out of the engine at lower rpm/s with the way that it works because its a multi stage forced induction all in one unit. doing such will lower the nox emissions resulting in lower combustion temps which means you can run more boost and get more power. it will also get rid of the need for valve overlap at lower rpms due to it sucking the gases out. most emissions of the not so nice sort occur at idle and lower rpms where you havent reached stoichiometry. this turbo will be able to reduce the vehicles emissions, while saving some gas usage by having boost right away and not dumping fuel to build up pressure. not a whole lot but car companies like every improvement they can get. how it does all of this i cannot say yet but once i have property rights i will indulge anybody who would like to know. just a slight improvement on forced induction. if you can handle that maybe some kid actually had a good idea and decided to try and make things happen instead of letting it fall down the drain :)
