    Just got back from Nurburgring

Well we had a great 1000 mile trip to Germany from London. I didn’t take my car on this trip but shared a sport with a friend.

All i can say is amazing, the weather, the cars, the girls, the beer and the TRACK!

The first pic is me driving the sport.

Then the touring (3.5 m30) is Karl and the civic Vtec (slag) is Dave.

The last guy is Andy with a 320i four door dropped 60mm

As normal we had a few problems on the way,

Frist off dave decided to get his car stuck in a ditch,

Then Karls wheel came off in mid corner on one of the back roads which lead from the track.

The bolts ripped out from the hub because he had used too many spacers because of the four pot callipers.

At our hotel these two American guys flew over and rented a Z4 and a Merc SLC kompressor.

This was the hero damage to the Z4, the car over steered, full lock then it caught grip but he could not steer back fast enough and hit the Armco.

The next trip is in September

    Andrew

Umm....too many spacers? What the hell does that mean? He had more than one spacer on each corner?

Yeah he had two, i think they were 5mm each. Not sure i only ever run wheels which are designed for the E30.

What gets me is that he was so lucky that his wheels didnt come off on the track! as he didnt wear a crash helmet or any roll cage.

Wow, two 5mm spacers. Well I really don't want to be insulting to some guy I don't know, but there's no way around it... that's really stupid. How could he have not seen that coming?

There was absolutely no hub sticking out and the lugs were forced to deal with all the stress.

I know, its a silly thing to do, but i think Karl knows that now.
The police fined him 35 euros.
