    A lot of work ahead

    I am sure this link will not last to long. But this is my new project. While I am not new to BMW, this is my 4th. I am new to the E30.

    1991 318is. The dash is trash, The whole of the tan interior has to go, but the body is good with one small spot I am going to have to repair. So far have not found the rust. Monday will dig into it I am sure there is rust some place.

    ->future stance/engine swap/black interior/repaint alpine white/smoked lights

    Rain here this weekend if it clears up will take photos and post some up.

                Very nice especially for the price. Just saw a crack-free dash for 80 someplace.. cant recall where.

                  Dash doesn't look even close to trashed from what I can see.

                      Only one small dent. Only a little rust on the underside. None in the trunk or when I pulled back carpet inside the car. Found a dash but the guy says it will not fit my car as it came out of a 325i. I may be wrong but I thought body parts were interchangeable from the 325 to 318.(outside of the motor/transmission) So other guy right or me?

                        The dash is indeed swappable. Nice clown shoe too! Always liked the Z-M coupes.

                              Be sure to get your dashboard from an air-bag car. The only difference is the fasteners for the knee bolster.
