I heard the Porsche 944 was one of the best handling cars they made for a long time, but that was just hearsay.

It was. I've driven one quite a few times. They have nearly perfect weight distribution with the tranny in the rear.

haha, no... they're not Lucas. My friend's 86 never had any electrical problems with it.
