    What would you do?

So, right now I have a orange 76 2002. It's not a DD and it's not a restoration candidate - its too rusty and too common (76 squarelight). My plans right now are to add an m42+g240 and just have it as a fun car. the other day I got into the body work and realized it's got a lot of work to be done. As of right now I'm just sanding down the rust and rattle canning it with paintscratch inka orange. It works, but doesn't look good and is temporary. So that got me thinking - what do I do with this thing? This is my thought process right now: slam it on coils, add a turbo body kit, add some baller wide wheels and graffitti it. The reason: I love graffitti (if you've seen my posts in the artwork threads you know this) and I just think it would be awesome. The result would be a combo of these two - but with better graffitti:

I know a few graffitti artists who do awesome work so it would be cooler than above.

What do you think? What would you guys do with it?

Here's some shots of it as it sits.

Sounds like a beater, buy something that might be worth the effort.

No, it's solid. It's not a bucket it just needs cosmetic love. In fact it's a great driver with the m10. Even the interior is nice. I plan on buying a "worthy" 2002 when the time is right. It's just that a 76 will never be worth the restoration costs. They aren't desirable.

man, I have a hard time trying to picture an 02 looking good w/ a graffiti job on it..

One vote for a solid color.
Props on a m42/g240 with an exterior turbo kit though.

I wouldn't, art on cars rarely comes out looking remotely decent and mostly just ends up looking like crap. Do a race inspired graphic or a flat 2 tone instead, still cheap and will cover all of that.

By the way, I have the air conditioning stuff sitting in my garage waiting for a box and shipping quote, I'll get off my lazy ass this week and do it. I found the blower in my parts car trunk also, the one made to fit in that console.

Two tone using green and black chalkboard paint. Will look mean and provide enjoyment for children at car show's, McDonald's playland, etc.

As a fellow longtime 2002 owner i say do it. That being said , it would have to have an extremely aggressive presence to pull it off. Stock ride height with skinny wheels just would NOT work. WIDE and low LOW.

Solid color plus flares. Since it will get a swapped motor anyway, a bit of a resto-mod scheme would be cool. Plus, IMHO, you'd have a better chance of selling it for a decent price should you need to.
