    Need custom flywheel

Ok heres the deal, we have a custom car that uses a small block chevy engine with a ford clutch because the tranny is from the pantera. Do you guys think i can just take the old flywheel and new aluminum chevy flywheel and have them drill and tap the holes for the ford clutch?

I meant to say take it to a machine shop, not "them" lol. I would think a machine shop should be able to do it butI thought maybe the couldnt get it exact enough for spinning at 7k rpm. Another problem i just discovered is that i dont think they make chevy aluminum flywheels with a 10.5in steel insert for the clutch...

the problem with the current one is that the friction surface is all worn down after machining. It also is 10.4 instead of 10.5 like the new disk.

I had thought that it was bad to use aluminum as the friction surface but maybe not. It would have to be machined some more though to get rid of the indent but that could work
