    What is this bumper called?

What exactly is the name of my bumper? and where can I find a reasonably priced replacement? I'm open to other options, all input is appreciated, so feel free to post photos of other bumpers. I'm looking for anything except OEM. I'm also looking for a drivers side fender, and grille. Thank you!

Most commonly called "plastic bumper" or "late model bumper." Stock on any 89+ e30, less verts til 91. And that is an 'is' lip on the lower part.

Ohh okay, didn't know it was oem. By oem I was referring to the sail boat frumpy looking bumper lol. My is lip is fine, where can I find the rest of it?

you dont deserve a car that clean if you cant even recognize a stock bumper. Buy some ducts for your brakes vents..

No argument there. First e30, give me a break. I drove it a month and parked it. I'm coming from a family of hot rods and lifted trucks, not a bimmer expert yet.

Also, the dealership threw me off. I thought it was oem, took it to the dealership to get a part number and the newb in parts said he'd never seen that bumper before and the only one he could get me was the sail boat. Figures. That's why I thought it was aftermarket.

The guy in parts called it that, and I heard an e28 guy say the same thing. I was refering to the metal bumper that sticks out that is particularly unattractive IMO.

                        Diving board, not sail boat.

dunno the oem part number but I paid 220ish for mine from the dealer. the one you're looking for should be in that price range. and whatever the fuck sailboat bumper this guy is talking about is not the only one he can get. I got the euro one from across seas. took three weeks to ship but didn't cost $.01 extra.
