Wanted: pic of your E30 themed license plate

E30 Friends,

Out here in Seattle we're starting the design for the 2011 E30 Picnic poster. This year we want to do a montage of license plates with a BMW or E30 theme (but needs to be on an E30). For variety we want to showcase personalized plates from around the country. You do not need to attend the E30 Picnic to have your plate on the poster.

If you care to participate please send a decent resolution image to me at: Lance@Richertnet.com

Deadline for submission is April 18.

Please shoot a close shot of the plate, and a full shot of the front (or rear) of your car. Leave us a little room to crop.

Please keep images to 1-2 megs if e-mailing. Or if you give me a link to upload, then I can handle larger.

Bonus1: clean car!
Bonus2: image shot with something better than a camera phone!
Bonus3: Please remove any aftermarket frames. The plate designs look better without a frame.

Plates from all 50 states are welcome. More variety the better!

Generally the idea is we'll feature the plates more than the cars. If I get enough submissions to fill the poster like we envision we may not see a single headlight.

Shots need to be straight on and static. A rolling shot won't help with the concept we'll be working with.

Sure, let's see if Euro themed plates can work into the design. Again, clean cars, and better than camera phone shots. This is a high quality poster.

Also, please shoot the plate as perfectly horizontal as possible. See B4BANGLE in the first post for the perfect submission. Cropped and full shot of the front. Car is clean, plate is horizontal. Original images submitted to me were around 1meg in size.
