It almost seems like it is only on everything in the car that you touch. Steering wheel, buttons, shift knob, etc.Leave a comment:

Wow. What the heck is floating around in the air in Seattle? Was it warm and humid the day you parked it and put the tarp over it?Leave a comment:

wtf...my car was sitting for a decade outside and leaks a bit yet has no mold issue. That's crazy
I'm not even sure what I would do in that situation; likely just buy another clean car and swap over anything salvageable. I mean, you could clean off the surface mold, but the seats, vents, headliner, etc...Leave a comment:

Looks like the mold is winning!
Over the years I have found three natural ingredients that kill mold: Tea tree oil (an essential oil found in most health food stores), grapefruit seed extract and vinegar. There are pros and cons of each, but all three work. Vinegar is by far the cheapest. Tea tree oil is expensive, but it is a broad spectrum fungicide and seems to kill all the mold families it contacts. The problem is that it has a very strong smell, but that dissipates in a few days. Grapefruit seed extract is also expensive, but has no smell.Leave a comment:

My god thats horrible. I would gut it and cleani it. The interior should be salvageable. As for the HVAC clean what you can.Leave a comment:
