Yes, apparently the 60 tooth versions are a direct swap to the 88 tooth Matco because they're both made by Danaher.

I just bought a set of GearWrench ratchets and Matco 88 tooth rebuild kits to go inside them. Using my buddy's Snap On ratchets made me finally realize I need to upgrade.

The gearwrench ratchets have the same head as matco? matco was using the same head as craftsman for a while.. good to know.


The snapon fine tooth ratchets are nice.. but they are made in china, and ive seen the flex head pins wear out very quickly

check out proto ratchets. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Proto...item41590a629b great fine tooth mechanisms on these style ratchets (although they are easily switched to reverse if you touch the reverse lever, this part sucks) they were also sold with MACs name on them for a while (they are sister companies) so my mac guy can still get me free rebuild parts when/if it strips out

Had to lug it down the stairs to the basement. Sunex 1000lbs. capacity geared engine stand, got on Summits for $100 cheaper than anywhere else. Works awesome and makes turning the engine that much easier.

If Lugging the Stand downstairs was bad, How'd you get the engine down there?

The snapon cart is setup to use as a modis "dock", its got a grommet in the back to run all the charge cables etc..

wish I had a modis to put in there though....

Where are you purchasing wright tools? they make some good stuff, but seem to have a lack of distribution/advertising.
I suppose they deal mainly in industrial customers. also Ive seen other companies such as matco put their name on wright ratchets

I picked this up just recently because I was running out of room in my Box at work, But then soon after I purchased it I had a falling out with the boss and left. Im gonna keep it but it sucks making snapon payments when youre not working.

Its pretty cool, I guess its a non-cataloged finish
