Need Advice E30 vert - Wheel Gap removal

Last year..bought a '87 vert...added 17" Alpina reps...replaced the shocks with OEM...but held off on anything else...I want to remove the front and rear wheel gap....cost is a factor...

    Thanks

Take a cutoff wheel to your springs.

Or drop about $150 on used springs off here.
For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!

I just redid the entire suspension on my 91 vert. Coupe Eibachs, Blistein sports, E90 Drop Hats, Thicker rear pads, and all new bushings around.Lowered the car perfectly and looks great

Here's my '91 on M3 springs with 225/45/16 tires. No rubbing or interference anywhere.

          Was this car at V@V?

So the cheapest route is to use E30 M3 springs?...even with 17" wheels?

              Cheapest is to cut them.

              Look at the JOM coils.

M3 springs make for a nice relatively supple ride, and won't kill OEM shocks in short order like some shorter/stiffer springs will, but they still have a bit more front gap than I'd like. Maybe M3 springs + e90 drophats would fit the bill though.
