    Viva Las Vegas

Well i made it to las vegas safe and sound, ill get to chill out here till monday then mariano and i are driving back to california.

The car has been doing well, even for driving at 85mph+ constantly. My only complaint is my drivers side door doesnt seal all the way or something, so when i go over 90 i have a lot of wind noise along the top of the door. i think a few layers of electrical tape or something will help seal it up a bit. i also have a nice vibration when i go over 85 in the front of the car that gets worse under braking. im thinking tie rod ends or warped rotors. i had the CABs, balljoints, control arms, and just about everything else replaced except the tierod ends last week. it almost feels like my motor is out of balance, but i put a new head, tbelt, tensioner, waterpump...the works so i doubt its that.

i just thought id let you know that driving across the country is kinda cool, kinda boring, and at some times very scary(semi trucks doing 80 in a mountain pass is VERY SCARY). at one point there was a line of 5 trucks all trying to pass each other up a very steep and long hill(a mile of 6% grade) and i found myself passing them on the shoulder(flame on) but i made it okay.

See you in soCal on monday!
ps. if you want smoked lights, just go hit a few million bugs(pics later)

        Here's a body shop trick:
Open the door and roll down the window. Using a knee as a pivot, pull the top of the window frame towards you. You'll be able to get the window frame to bend quite easily. This will give you a better seal. You'll be amazed just how soft the sheetmetal is. It's a little unnerving actually.

Drove from LA to Las Vegas over the weekend and back, car runs very nicely and I couldn't feel that I was going 100mph when I was with my Falken Azeni's and MarkD chip.
