Have one in my Z3MC, handy very handy. (along with a space saver spare tire from LeatherZ) Used it a lot, not just on my car but to help out other stranded drivers.Comment

^ not all their stuff is shit, only 70% is! My engine stand, air compressor, jack stands and some other stuff work great.Comment

Harbor freight is legit! its cheap does the job and if it breaks they will take it back most of the time.Comment

I know I am a little too extra careful, but I only use Craftsman or similar reputable companies when it comes to jack stands (i know they are still all made in china). Also, I couldn't care less how heavy they are, so the heavier: the better.
I doubt I would ever run into an accident with Harbor Freight stands, but I really don't want to be a statistic..
Ya, except if it breaks, this time, you won't be around to return it.........Last edited by Frog; 03-22-2011, 07:09 PM.Comment

I would buy a jack from Harbor Freight, because you don't stay under it. Seems LEGIT.
I wouldn't buy stands thought. But that is just me...Comment

the alum. jack is so incredibly nice and easy to pick up and move, unlike my stupid 3.5 ton that i have to roll across my bumpy garage floor, then pick it up and manhandle it when I have to move it farther than a few feet (cant stand how noisy it is when it rolls more than that :P)Comment

I have checked them out in person and almost pulled the trigger.
They are nice, come polished and are crazy light compared to regular stands.
Main reason I was gonna get them is for loading them in my car for auto-x weekends.
The lighter stuff is that I have to haul then unload it then reload then the better.
Plus the bling is nice too. :DComment

e30s don't weigh more than two tons - and i'd find it hard to believe if they made an automotive stand that couldn't handle less than 5 tons.
You just bought them dude - what do they claim to be rated for? You'll be fine.Comment

Anyways, I was concerned about the quality of HF's products for a while because of their low prices, but I've been happy with the various things I've bought there.I do what I want
