Seat Belt Install - Help ASAP?

Hey guys, just got my motor running and want to drive the car but I've been fiddling with the darn seat belt for about 30 minutes.

I can't get the spool to release the belt so that I can extend it out and bolt it up to the top of the b-pillar (and wear it).

I'm sure there is some switch or something but they seem jammed.

Also the two front belts seem to be slightly different designs, both fit into the bottom of the b pillar though and look like they would work.

Came out of working car.

There is a ball bearing trigger inside a little plastic box. If it was in an accident and locked, you have to pop it open and free it. You also have to hold them vertical in the right direction, but if they are mounted, it is a moot point.
