Wow, that sounded beautiful. Have you done any mods with that S50?
What would you say your 60-120 is?
I'd love to see more, I could watch that all day.
That's cool you have a working tach, I can't believe these people who have absolutely insane cars all around just don't bother to get their tach working. I'll have to read through the dual cam thread again, I definitly want a working tach.Comment

:? I dont see why, its just one wire and its right there. You can even reuse the old plug if you just order another pin. You might have to change your coding plug depending on what you had before.Im now E30less.

Here's some vid of me and my car at Summit Point from last year (Thanks to Chris Kerlin for hosting them for me).
That crazy noise that sounds like something is rattling, is in fact the little neck-strap clips beating themselves to death on the camera, and the mount.Comment

Uhhh, no. I have an s52. But it's been REALLY worked on. Like the kind of money good ol' Jordo spent on his entire car, I dropped into my engine just this year and last year alone.Originally posted by King Luis^^^so you got a stock s50 in there and you were passing a m3?
damn...i need more money :(
It's got a custom cold air intake (with custom heat shield), Dinan BBTB, 24lb injectors, UUC underdrive pullies, UUC Stage 2 LTW FLW, Schrick 264/256 cams, custom euro headers, custom twin euro metallic cats, M3 Tri-flow exhaust, Competition port/polish of all intake/exhaust surfaces, +2mm over sized Ferrera valves (plus springs and retainers also by Ferrera), competition valve job, custom tuned for max power by Dave Morin (the MoTec wizard) at Turner, 3.25lsd, Z3 rack, 5 lug swap, Brembo 330mm GT 4 piston caliper brakes, and on, and on, and on........
So no, not a stock s50 or s52. But it was still a tad faster than an e46 M3 when it was stock because of the power to weight ratio, and with all the suspension work, it out-turned them too. Even e39 M5's are a joke (now, anyway).Comment

Yup, I suppose I could have gone wilder, but I wanted still useable torque down low. I drive this car daily in the summer, and do 5-7 track schools, but not enough to warrant a 272 or even 288 set-up. Top end hp was not all I thought about. If so, I would have turbo-ed it. The 264/256 set-up is quite popluar with the s52 crowd, plus it was what Turner recommended for my taste.Originally posted by JhonnoMild cams then..Comment
