To add to this thread, I am also a stupid driving teenager..sometimes at least. I've definately learned from the mistakes my friends have made (totalled cars left and right), but I do like to whip my back end out when it's safe to. My local park has a nice road and it's dominated by my tire marks. Only once in a blue moon though. I can't afford to hurt anyone, or anymore tickets ;)

I remember the first time I got my E30 running and I asked myself "Ok, what's all this good handeling everyone's talking about that this car has?" Took it around a turn faster and faster, then eventually broke loose. First time driving a RWD car. I got extremely nervous I was going to spin out, but as soon as I countersteered it was the biggest smile on my face. I got out of my car shaking hahaha.

haha at least you're honest. I did the same as you when I first got my e30 and I ended up on a median with a broken oil pan. I was lucky nothing else happened to my car and I didn't get a ticket. Ever since then, I don't practice drifting unless I'm in an empty parking lot with nobody around. It's not worth the risk of totaling your car just because you have the urge to get sideways.

p.s. don't let off the gas if the back end comes loose. you will regain traction and the car will snap back in the direction of the countersteer and you will most likely wreck! ask me how i know? ;)

                    not i sir.
i would never claim that i drift.
and if anyone really ask'd me anything about it i'd tell them ive spun a few tires here and there but never around corners.

Sliding on public roads in the rain when you know you dont know what your doing.

                          You sound pretty bright.

Reminds me of some local kid who ripped the ebrake in his car at highway speeds to drift and went off the road and killed some lady and her daughter.

not familiar with those abbreviations but what i think your saying is to replace the worn out trailing arm bushings and rear sway bushings??
sorry if i got it wrong haha.

DUDE i did something like this the other day in the rain!
i was doing 30, slowed down a bit for the right turn, slight uphill right, and as i turn i gas it. back slides out, i counter steer...keep in mind all of this is on purpose and i had done it before. then i realize my steering is doing nothing and i do a full 360 stopping the right way in my lane. i calmly continue on with my drive

TAB is correct. RSB rear subframe bushings. Worn out ones will cause rear steer and generally diabolical rear end behavior.
