    coolant light

    my coolant light kept coming on, and i have coolant, can someone tell me why and how i can stop this

    mine stays on even if i have a full reservoir...
    but i i have issues in my cooling system so i thought maybe it was that

        Its probably your coolant level sensor. Mine comes on sporadically but the clip on mine is broken and any hard bumps knocks it out causing it to come on.

          The coolant light on the check panel is only a level light. If it's coming on and you're not low on coolant, the sensor is bad or you have connection problems.

            The coolant sensor on mine rotated 90 degrees downward. There is a flat edge on it that is supposed to press against a flat edge on the coolant reservoir. Check and see if yours has moved. It's a nice free fix!
