    clutch problems

I know for a fact there is very little left of my clutch. I smell it and feel it slipping when i shift. I was wondering what the cheapest way to get a new clutch is? Is it smart to get one from a junk yard or a part out car? I'm looking towards doing it myself.

How cheap are you exactly? You can get a new OE sachs clutch for under $200 on ebay.

Under 200 is a really fair price. But it seems that they dont fit on 87 325e's?

and Brainspo0n, thats not possible :D

For the effort involved, I would not do a used clutch. I'd buy a new one, but ebay might have some off brand ones that would probably work fine.

Dude search F1 racing on ebay, they have clutches for every e30 engine/tranny combo. I just typed F1 racing e30 clutch. OE brand is Sachs and you can get it from them for like $160 plus shipping.

That one isn't Sachs it's gripforce/F1 racing OE spec. The gripforce/F1 racing clutches get good reviews from what I hear though.

Edit: maybe I was pricing the non Sachs one before, Sachs is priced at $220

NVM you have an eta missed that. The F1/ gripforce ones are fine.
