about to buy these TSW borbet H look-a-likes

so i'm about to go pick up these wheels, paint job looks poopy but i can fix it.

owner wants 90$ for the set,
they are 4x100 16" thats all i know so far,
believe they have the correct offset to fit on my ETA e30...
please tell me if I'm wrong,
the owner said tires are pretty gone but all have air.
please tell me if you think this is a good deal for a poor college student who is tired of bottle caps,
also please let me know what i need to make sure of when checking them out!
    thanks r3v,
    pantless.

need to make sure they hub-centric. they look cheap and i reckon they're for another car (civic) and wont mate up w/ out additional hardware (again- centering rings). may not be worth your trouble, save up for the borbets.

how can i make sure they are hub-centric??
i unfortunately can't bring my e30 to pick them up,
and i dont really desire the type H... they look okay but i was thinking of this as more of a cheap upgrade from bottle caps until i start making more money and can buy some type A's or possibly some RS's.

for an e30 its gonna be 57.1mm (double check me though), i'd say cut out a sheet of paper to this size and measure the diamater of the opening (thats what she said)

basically the wheel centers itself and stays true due to the lip on the hub. other cars retain the centering of the wheel from lug nuts.

so the spot for the hubs gotta be 57.1mm in diameter?
and thats what you mean by hub-centric i assume.

correct. if the rim has a center-bore smaller then 57.1mm you'll need wheel spacers/adapters.

if they're bigger than you need centering rings.

either way i feel additional costs will creep in and make them more expensive than you originally anticipated. again, i feel for you- everyone hates they're bottle caps- only a few rocked them proper...and even kamotors got rid of them eventually. your money will be better spent w/ other mods.....like painting those db's you've been talking about.

              good point..
i'll check them out today and try to possibly talk him down,
if they seem to be correct fitment i will probably buy them tho.
              lol.
