ABS vs. non-ABS brake master cylinder

    Hi,

My car is non-ABS, and the MC is leaking fluid onto the brake booster, so I want to replace it.
Does anybody know the difference between ABS and non-ABS master cylinders? Nobody seems to have non-ABS MCs for sale here.
The other question is, according to realoem.com, there is a difference between pre and post 05/1987 MCs. Will they still fit my E30? (01/87 ETA)

    Thanks

enter your vin number into realoem, then search for the master cylinder. Once you find it, click on the part number below the picture and click the usage button on the next screen to check for compatibility.

Thanks for your help. I could figure out that on some models, the same part is listed for both ABS and non-ABS. So they are interchangeable.
