I highly doubt he purposely set his garage on fire. Its easy to pigeon hole the guy because he was ranting about his car months ago. I'm sure we've all jokingly said that you'd want to light your car on fire because you were pissed about it. Shame on anybody that thinks this was on purpose.

1 - I don't like everyone on here, nor everyones cars, (but then who does??) but I wouldn't wish this on anybody.

2 - There is a certain member here who has a bunch of sack danglers just waiting to toss some salad. I'm sure if their stuff went up in flames, most (notice I said MOST) all of you on here would have a pity party and want a national day off school/work for mourning.

3 - I would hope that anyone that tries to set their own shit on fire and then talk about it on the internet is not trying to pull a scam. If they are, they deserve to be in jail for stupidity on both counts. Not the case here.

If he wanted to torch his car he would have done it on the side of the street or something. Why intentionally torch a car in a garage full of all his tools / wheels when he had liability only insurance?

With the proper 3/4 shot in HDR, it could be quite an epic photograph. That would explain the lighting rig setup in front of the fire, and with the correct pastel tee shirt and a handstand with a pair of limited edition Wayfarers, it would take epic right out of this world, bro.

The owner certainly didn't help his case by deleting the thread once it was brought to everyone's attention.
