    R.I.P. Rusty Slammington

Repost I'm sure... but had to pay my respects. It is a sad, sad day in the bmw community to see this great automobile go out in such a tragedy.
Whether it was your cup of tea or not, it can't be argued that this car inspired many bimmer fans out there and probably turned a lot of other people onto the scene. R.I.P Rusty Slammington.

Knowing what this car used to look like before it was butchered, I say good riddance. Unfortunately, there will always be more decent cars to kill in creative ways..

        Questionable statements.....

        Quite unfortunate for M.Burroughs though.

Repost indeed, but it was one amazing rat rod. I am a huge fan of this car, and Mike's work. Love it or hate it, you still have respect for the insane amount of work involved in making it. The inspiration in fabrication, motor swaps, suspension setups and not to mention one off wheels that are worth more then almost all e30s on here.

To all the haters...get in JUST ONE magazine... ;)
He got one car into 3 or 4? Mad props

seriously though they could have just posted a pic of it in its current state and I would have assumed that it was the next iteration of the thing

I didn't personally like how the car turned out but I enjoyed seeing how he was able to take a broken piece of junk and turn it into a car everyone who has ever visited any BMW forum will recognize. Mike put a lot of work into that car and he just lost all of it in a garage fire. That just flat out sucks, no matter who it happens to. He's brought the car back from the dead more than once, can't wait to see what he does next.

People hate his car because they don't like rat rods. I personally like it. Hope he does something about the car. Maybe go the next step into rat rodding it some more. I hope he makes it look like this.

If you really want to go to the lowest possible way rat rodding is to do it.
