Be patient and keep stacking your chips man. You'll find something eventually. Thats a pretty far drive.

So to bring to states is just a buy and bring home and register deal?

Well meaning I get the paperwork from BMW NA that they are identical and all

        Too much work

          going in the opposite direction,

you have to submit the title and stuff to the border 48 hours before so they can make sure its clear of liens and other issues. This can be done Via fax or mail. After that 48 hours you simply show up at the border, pay any taxes, might be searched(i never have), and your on your way.

          EDIT: more..
You will probably have so many days to register it(10 i think), you have to bring the papers given to you at the border along with the title, and they will issue you a new title.

If you have emissions you will probably have to deal with that as well...

The best/cheapest bet would be to find one in your state, even changing title and reg from WA to OR is costly. I would only buy an out of state car if it is the you have been looking for. Seems like 4 door auto E30's should be plentiful, and uber cheap

I drove to Seattle to pick up my cabrio, I had been looking for one just like it for several months

Why would you buy a car in canada ? Just be patient and hunt around seattle or portland for an e30. I`m sure you will be able to find one.

Yeah, I need to be patient. Oh and ask every e30 owner in town if they are willing to sell
