clearcoat or protective coating for aluminum question

I bead blasted my intake manifold, the only problem is when ive done things like that before, and dirt and oil sticks to it and its really hard to clean off if not impossible.
Well i want my engine bay to look nice, , tired of being jealous of other clean bays, thermostat housing, intake manifold, valve cover, to start with. Is there any specific clearcoat that can be used so the parts are "laminated" for lack of better term so dirt cannot directly contact it? Probably a dumb question but still learning.
    thanks!

Powdercoat is a good option, but can be expensive. The cheap route would be to just buy a can of clear spray paint.

I have heard of people doing "DIY" anodizing, try Google. If possible it would likely be more durable than rattle can clear.

You should be able to have it professionally anodized for not a lot of money. I get full 4' x 8' sheets done for $250 each. I would think an intake would be the shop min charge, probably around $50
1990 325is - sterling silver, very nice, maybe for sale
