Apparently my water pipe connector broke and it needs replacing. This $15 part runs under the intake manifold. A local repair shop quoted me $ 750+. Is this a difficult project? What cost should I expect on this project. Thank you. If you need additional info, please let me know. Thank you. Don

Seriously, it's not a particularly hard repair, it's getting to the thing that's a bitch.
If you're an OK mechanic, you should probably allow 1 full day to get it done, more if this is your only transportation.
Expect to break other stuff (vac lines, etc) while you're in there, most people just buy all the stuff under the intake manifold before doing the job, then just replace it all while you're in there.
