    Alignment on a low e30

My baby needs her front toe adjusted really bad. Wonderin if if I can get a cheaper rate becuase there not doing camber/caster or anything in the rear. Also wondering if anyone has had issues with bringing in their car car and it being too low. My friend threw some springs on his tiburon and they wouldnt even touch it.

My old car has gotten stuck on alignment racks. You may have to try a few different places.

Big shops typically have a flat rate for alignments, so you are not going to get any price break there. Ma and pa shops, you may be able to haggle.

Check with your local BMW independent repair shops, they might be able to either do alignments or refer you to somewhere who will.

The last time I got my car aligned they tried to jack up the price over the phone quote because I didn't tell them it was a BMW. I politely said that I would be paying the quoted phone price. They tried to tell me that there was a special setup for BMW's and that it did not fall into the regular labor quote for an alignment. I politely said BS and offered to pay the phone quote. They took it.

I have a buddy with an alignment and a tire shop mixed and he does the alignment for 35$ with a printout of full camber/castor/toe specs.

                  He does good work.

                  Oh and it's plenty lowered

Get a buddy, a tape measure, and a ratchet strap. Strap the steering Wheel straight to the brake pedal and have at it, takes a lil diligence but not very hard. A tape with metric marks makes calculations much easier.

Midas will only do with the 450+ lb. in the car as described in the bentley, start calling and shopping, that was like 5 diffs and a couple vert. trunk weights. I asked the guy if my 280 lb. ass should be in there too!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other option is take it to a shop at the race track. Think this is what I'm going to do when I get my RTAB subframe in. DIY to get it close, then drive it to get it finished correctly.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

Are there any track prep/motorsports shops in your area? We have a few around here and they will all do alignments on lowered cars.
