    oh i didnt read the squirting part so it was arterial. The lacerations were deep and at 5 inch's etc....sheesh he's a beast for actually applying pressure himself because i dont think a'lot of people do that in most cases (or so i've heard from my professors)

This is a scenerio my emt professor would have pulled up on a test but was it really arterial bleeding? because if you'd of been bleeding from the artery in two places for 5 min and then in transportation its hard to say you didnt lose enough blood to go into shock or die.

    not late its mah birthday today

    i got so lucky its not even funny. the doctors said i would hav bled to death if i got to the hospital a few mins later. its definitely pretty painful but it dosnt even matter im so glad to be okay and in one piece. im gonna stick to 4 wheels for a while.. first thing im gonna do once i can walk and get the stitches out of my ass is drive my s50'd e30.

    Femoral artery damage usually leads to death pretty quickly. You're lucky you were conscious and smart enough to apply pressure. They're nearly the size of a garden hose, so you can bleed out pretty quickly.
