    Yes it does, and no, mine doesn't. Thanks for pointing that out. Now have to figure out if it's a 240 or 260.

        Can anyone positively ID this diff? I'm thinking E28 but I'm still fairly new to BMW...

            Nah, 5 lug is going on the EM coupe project car. Along with the Plastic bumper swap, M50, etc. The touring is a utilitarian daily :-)

              dif. is e28. will work in an e30 though with a different rear cover.

              trans looks like a reg. old 260 to me. under the word getrag where the clutch slave goes in will be the number of it either a 240 or 260 with a few numbers after ( the year made)

              nice pick up once again.
