A Sign Hit My Dirty 30!!!

So im the manager at advanced auto here in Chatanooga and Chattanooga Gas decided today was the day to do construction on a gas line in the middle of the road....so they put up the men working sign right on the sidewalk in front of my car (after I had parked for the day). Well the signs fell into my car and ran some pretty nice scratches down my freshly painted cars quarter lol...

So not sure how this will turn out but i ended up with the foreman of the jobs info and they ended up with mine and I filed a police report an hour later to cover my ass from getting shafted.

Any one else had to deal with getting something similar taken care of by a large local company?

A few pics: Kinda hard to tell in pics (White marks and white paint) looks a lot worse in person. And extremely Noticeable!

The Last Picture is prob the best im gonna be able to get it to show up. But theres about 6 or 7 deep gashes in the paint all the way to the fender well.

    End Rant lol

Meh. You'd have been better off working for the Auto Zone down the street.

Honestly it looks like all of that will buff out with the exception of the horizontal scratch above the body beltline.

Most shops will probably quote less than $350 to clean that up and paint just the quarter panel.
Thats with 1-2 hours body labor and putting the paint in as base/clear.

You're probably better off having it color/wetsanded and buffed as best as they can.

Make them cash, then wetsand or do whatever you have to do to save the paint without respraying, profit.
                      Jah bless! :pimp:
