Just buy some from BMP design or Bavarian Autosport.

The e36 passenger mat is just a little smaller, I'm thinking that it's probably the same deal with the e46. And the rear mats are shaped a bit differently too.

I've heard that the mats from BavAuto are better quality than the OEM ones from the dealer.

My E46 mats seem to work fine, only real difference is that they dont fit quite right over the deal pedal.

I got a couple E46 mats free from the dealer, but the extra clothe by the clutch area catches on my shoe so I don't use them. I may cut it just so I don't need to buy some mats.

E30 mats are still sold from the dealer with the old style hold downs so they dont bunch up under the pedals.
