    Need your honest opinion...

When I R3V'd my car, it damaged my hood a TINY bit on the drivers side corner. It's too bent to repair, too ugly to live with and I'd rather not spend $1,000 on a new hood + paint, so I'm getting creative. Since it's just the edge that got F'd up, I was thinking about cutting it off, rolling it, then putting a german flag decal for accent. Here’s a shitty “paint” mock up of my idea.

Real pictures will follow when I get home. This is the kind of shit I do class lol.

I had an E30 with a banged up front edge of the hood. Just threw a bra on it and called it a day.

Rolling, bending the edge where it was cut, down so it's not just a straight edge. I agree about doing it right, this would most likely be a temporary fix, I'm broke till September. As for actually doing it, my shops excellent at fabrication, it wouldn't just be a hack job.

Please do this. Used hoods are cheap. If you still want to do more, take your stripe idea and put it on the new hood.

I'd just deal with it until I got a new hood. Just be thankful you have an e30. Some have to go their whole life without ever laying eyes on one, poor souls...
